Conductor Resistance Acceptance Checker | Jinyou Cable

Conductor Resistance Acceptance Checker

A conductor either meets its maximum resistance at 20 °C or it does not. Enter the size, the conductor class and the resistance you measured, and this compares it against the IEC 60228 limit for that size and class. The limits are stated at 20 °C, so a reading taken at any other temperature has to be corrected before the comparison means anything.

Enter a measurement and press Check.

A verdict here is an indication, not a test report. A resistance measurement that settles a dispute needs a defined specimen with its length and cross-section measured, an instrument of stated accuracy and correction to the reference temperature — GB/T 3048.4 in China, ASTM B193 in the United States. The document to ask a supplier for is the routine test record against the IEC 60228 limit for the size and class you ordered.
