Jinyou Cable designs, manufactures and exports high-performance cables and integrated electrical systems for the renewable energy industry. Solar power, energy storage, electric mobility and demanding industrial environments — every product is built to international standards and adapted to the specific requirements of the project it serves.
We are not a trading company. Our own automated production lines and in-house testing systems in Shanghai let us hold consistent quality across custom constructions, and give our partners direct access to the engineers who make the cable. That combination — factory control plus two decades of export experience — is what keeps buyers in more than 40 countries coming back.
Jinyou also helped write the rules the industry now works to. We led the drafting of China’s first PV cable technical standard and its first national industry standard, and were the first Chinese manufacturer to obtain PCCC certification for photovoltaic cable.

Our Shanghai facility runs automated machinery alongside its own testing systems, so conformance is checked as cable is produced rather than sampled at the end. Every construction ships with the test reports your submittal package needs.

China’s first photovoltaic cable certification
The certification marked our formal entry into the photovoltaic industry and demonstrated the strength that would define the next decade of the business.
CEEIA B218-2012 released
Led by founder Pan Chenxi, Jinyou released China’s first technical standard for cables in photovoltaic power systems, laying the foundation for a more reliable and standardised solar industry.
First PCCC certification in the country
Jinyou became the first company in China to successfully obtain PCCC product certification for photovoltaic cable.
Listed on the NEEQ
The company was successfully listed on China’s National Equities Exchange and Quotations under stock code 830994.
First intelligent prefabricated PV substation
Our first intelligent prefabricated photovoltaic substation entered operation, extending the business from cable into integrated electrical equipment.
NB/T 42073-2016 published
China’s first national industry standard for cables in photovoltaic power generation systems was released under our leadership, bringing consistency to a market that had none.
New Energy Vehicle Cable Division established
A dedicated division was created to serve electric mobility, with a core team experienced in OEM and ODM work for EV charging cable.
MIIT “Specialized and Innovative Little Giant”
Jinyou was named in the first batch of the title awarded by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, recognising our innovation capability in the cable industry.
Gigawatt-scale renewable base in Qinghai
State Power Investment Corporation awarded Jinyou a landmark contract for the multi-gigawatt renewable energy base in Hainan Prefecture, Qinghai, followed by a written commendation from the purchaser.
Third-generation photovoltaic cable
High flame-retardant B1 and B2 PV cables and a multifunctional protective PV cable passed national appraisal. The company received a third prize for Shanghai Science and Technology Progress and was named a Shanghai Intellectual Property Demonstration Pilot Enterprise.
UNCCD COP16, Saudi Arabia
Founder Pan Chenxi presented on photovoltaic cable for desertification environments at the 16th session of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, and joined the Tsinghua University–UNCCD REPER project as a research partner.

The person who helped write China’s PV cable rulebook
Pan Chenxi is a pioneer of the photovoltaic cable industry in China. He established Jinyou’s first PV cable production plant in Anting, Shanghai in 2005, and has since watched the sector grow from nothing into a global supply base — leading the company to over one-third of the domestic market along the way.
Under his direction, Jinyou’s range has grown from a single model to more than 60 specifications, with daily capacity rising from 100,000 metres to 2 million metres. He led the drafting of CEEIA B218 “Cables for Photovoltaic Power Generation Systems” and took part in formulating China’s first national standard for photovoltaic cable.
