Three-Temperature Screen

A heating cable has three temperature limits, not one. Enter the temperature the line has to hold and the highest temperature it ever reaches, including a steam-out, and the check reports which Jinyou constructions clear every rung.

Application Notes

Nominal values are used for the check. The plus or minus 5 °C tolerance on the self-regulating grades is a manufacturing band, not extra headroom, so a design that only clears a rung inside that band should be confirmed with an engineer. Where a cell reads “not published” or “no model row published”, the screen returns that construction for engineering confirmation rather than clearing it — a figure the client does not publish is never borrowed from a neighbouring row.

Ask an engineer whether your process temperature clears the screen →

This screen checks two of the three rungs — maintain and withstand. The exposure rung, and every published maintain, exposure and withstand figure, is on the heat tracing cable page.
